Mahashakti Claudia Hubberten was born in Mallorca, but was educated and trained in Germany. In order to further her career and gain more experience, she worked for some time in France, Pacific Islands, Britain and Spain, returning to this beautiful Mediterranean island in 1997.

After several years of practicing yoga, she felt the desire to immerse herself more into a yogic life and a more intense spiritual path and to pass this on to others. Thus it was that she decided to go on a year-long world tour coupled with a long stay in India.

Claudia completed her training in yoga in Germany and received her spiritual name „Mahashakti“ on completion.

She practices and teaches Hatha yoga, with a backround in the tradition of Swami Sivananda. Exposure to teachers of different emphasis and direction enabled her to expand and create her own style.
